Warehousing is the storage of goods and materials and associated functions such as receiving, identification, inspection, holding, retrieval and movement on to final destination. Roles in this sector are numerous, from entry level through to management.
Work in the warehousing sector tends to be labour intensive and physically demanding due to the lifting required, so a good level of fitness is generally important. Jobs in this sector tend to be temporary and can involve anything from unloading stock and moving it into the warehouse for storage, right through the order picking of client specific orders to quality checking and dispatch duties.
Full training provided. 3 week rolling shift pattern to include earlies, lates and nights. 37hrs per week.
